Competition Terms and Conditions



Article 1: Competition organization

The company: Sarenza, SA registered with the Registry of Trade and Companies in Paris under number 480 188 507 and whose registered office is located at 27-29 rue de Choiseul – 75002 Paris, France is organising a free contest with no obligation to purchase, and will be hereafter referred to as “the Organiser.”

Article 2: Competition objective is organizing a flash contest on its Facebook page The contest will allow one fan of the Facebook page to win a voucher for £100 to spend on a pair of high heels from

The Sarenza UK Facebook contest is open to all residents of the mainland UK, excluding minors. The contest participant should verify in the terms and conditions at to check whether shipping is available in his or her area.

To enter the game, the participant must post a comment in answer to the following question: What is your favourite high heel on Sarenza (brand and style name)?

Sarenza will choose a winner at random from among the participants.

Participation in the UK contest is limited to fans of the Facebook page and is limited to one entry per participant per drawing. The participant should be aware that he or she must only participate in the contest if he is a resident of the UK.

Participation in the contest implies the unconditional acceptance of the present terms and conditions in their entirety, hereafter referred to as “the Terms and Conditions.”

Article 2-1: Access to the Competition

This contest is not managed or sponsored by Facebook, whom the organiser releases from all responsibility.

Article 3: Date and duration

The contest will occur from 27/11/2013 until 4/12/2013 inclusive.
The organiser reserves the right to prolong the participation period and to postpone any and all dates announced.

Article 4: Participation conditions and validity

4-1 Participation conditions

The UK contest is open to all residents of the mainland UK, excluding minors. The contest participant should verify in the terms and conditions at to check whether shipping is available in his or her area.

Those persons who are not authorised to participate in the contest include all of those who have collaborated in the organisation of the contest as well as their direct family members, the employees of the organiser, or the subcontractors of the organiser.

Each participant residing in the mainland UK may enter one unique time and only at the following Facebook page:

4-2 Participation Validity

The information entered into the fields of the participation form must be complete and valid on the site Information concerning identity, e-mail addresses, and all other fields mentioned in the form that are found to be incorrect or deceitful will result in the participant’s entry being voided.

The organiser reserves the right to eliminate from the drawing and/or the contest all entries that do not respect the terms and conditions, notably all incomplete or unreadable entries.

Article 5: Winner determination

After the contest, the drawing will occur on 06/12/2013.
The organiser will select one winner from among the valid comments. All comments containing a declaration that is false and/or inaccurate and/or incomplete and/or do not respect the present terms and conditions will be considered null and void and will result in the selection of another participant from a new random drawing.

Article 6: Prize designation

The prize is as follows: One pair of high heels up to the value of £100 from The prize will be sent directly to the participant at his or her address.

Article 8: Prize collection

The organising company will personally inform the winner between 9th of December 2013 and 13th of December 2013.

The winner will be invited by e-mail to provide their postal information in order to permit the organiser to send his or her prize.

If a winner does not respond to the e-mail asking him or her to provide his or her address within seven days, then the prize will be forfeited. The prize may in this circumstance be awarded to another participant chosen through another random drawing.

If the e-mail address provided in the participation form is incorrect or does not belong to the winner, or if for any other reason relating to technical problems the organiser is not able to correctly direct the information e-mail, then the organiser will not in any case be held responsible. Similarly, the organiser will not conduct any research to find the contact information for a contest winner in the case of an e-mail address that is invalid or unreadable, or in the case of an incorrect postal address.

Prizes not collected:

A contest winner who is unreachable, or who does not respond within seven days to provide his or her contact information, will not be entitled to any prize or compensation of any nature.

The prizes attributed are individual and non transferable. In addition, the prize shall in no case be the object of any contestation from the winner, including exchange or any other type of compensation whatsoever.

Article 8: Information of the winners

The winner will be personally informed between 9th of December 2013 and 13th of December 2013.

Article 9: Personal data

The personal data collected during the contest are saved and used by the organiser as is necessary for participation in the contest and the attribution of the prize. In accordance with the French “Data Protection Act” of 6 January 1978, the participants have the right to access, contest, rectify, or delete information concerning themselves. Any such request must be addressed by post to the organiser’s address mentioned in Article 1.

Article 10: Responsibility

The participant recognises and accepts that the sole obligation of the organiser in managing the game is to submit the collected entries of the participants into the random drawing, provided that each entry complies with the terms and conditions, and to award the prize to the winner, according to the criteria and terms defined in the present terms and conditions.

The organiser will not be held responsible for any problems relating to technical issues, hardware or software of any kind, the risk of contamination by potential viruses circulating on the network, and/or the absence of protection for certain data against possible misuse.

Participation in this contest implies the understanding and acceptance of the characteristics and limitations of the Internet concerning technical performance, response times for consulting, for querying, or for transferring information.

Article 11: Force majeure/reserves

The organiser will not be held responsible if, for a reason of force majeure or occurrence beyond its control, the contest must be changed, curtailed, or cancelled. The organiser reserves the right to take any verifying action deemed useful and/or necessary in regard to the terms and conditions, notably to eliminate any participant having made a false and/or inaccurate and/or fraudulent declaration.

Article 12: Disputes

The terms and conditions are governed by the French law. The parties involved will attempt to resolve any disputes concerning the interpretation or the execution of the current terms and conditions in an amiable manner. If the disagreement persists, it will be submitted to the relevant courts.

The organiser will not respond to any queries or complaints via telephone concerning the application or the interpretation of the present terms and conditions. Any contestation or complaint relative to the contest and/or random prize drawing will be expressed in writing and sent to the organiser’s address.

No contestation will be considered from 8 days after the contest is closed.
