Wedding guest shoes: Guess, L.K. Bennett and more

party shoes

With May just around the corner, it’s time to start preparing for the summer party season. Weddings, garden parties, horse racing…we can’t wait to make the most of this summer! But in order to do so, of course, we want to find the perfect party outfit. If you have multiple weddings and other events to attend this summer, this can be a serious pain. While you may not want to repeat a dress, luckily there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wearing the same pair of shoes to a few different events. Here are our shoe picks to help you get through the summer party season without going bankrupt in the process:

L.K. Bennett

Nude shoes with an intricate pattern are great party basics

Classic nude high heels are great for a lot of reasons, but for a special occasion I like to feel like my shoes are a little more…well, special! That’s why I love these nude L.K. Bennett high heels with their intricate lace-like detail. They’re versatile enough to go with pretty much any party outfit, but the detail keeps them interesting.

Guess

Classic red satin shoes are great for the most formal occasions

For nighttime weddings or black-tie dinners, these red satin high heels are a great go-to shoe option. These Guess shoes may be a little formal for daily life, but the timeless shape and quality design will last for plenty of special occasions to come. Bright shoes like this are the perfect accent for an elegant LBD, especially with another touch of red somewhere in the outfit–a bag or a necklace, perhaps?

Michael Michael Kors

The essential black stiletto

Every woman needs a pair of black stiletto heels in her wardrobe, and these Michael Michael Kors shoes are a gorgeous option. Sleek, modern, and elegant, these high heels are easy to adapt to different wedding outfits, particularly for more formal events.

Paul & Betty

Bright statement shoes will help you stand out from the crowd

For those ladies who prefer packing a bit more attitude into their high heels, these Paul & Betty shoes could be the perfect choice. Mint green is *still* a trend-on fashionista favourite, and the high, thick heel give these a great retro feel. Warning: other guests will DEFINITELY remember these shoes once they’ve seen you in them once!

Steve Madden

Wedges are a comfortable summer alternative to high heels

Finally, for those not too keen on high heels, wedges can be a great summer alternative. Easier to walk in (especially on grass if it’s an outdoor wedding!), there are plenty of wedge heels still elegant enough for a special occasion. Case in point: these Steve Madden shoes in a beautiful cream colour.

What is your ideal wedding outfit?

Have a great weekend!
