Spring is in the air, which means that many of you are starting to think about your summer plans. And for some lucky ladies, that means planning your wedding! It’s never too early to start putting together your bridal outfit, and with the spring/summer collection new in at Sarenza now is the perfect opportunity to get the bridal shoe search going. Here are some of my personal favourites from the new collection:
These pretty pastel heels are a great and easy wedding day option. They’re also versatile enough to wear for other spring/summer events so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth. L.K. Bennett shoes are timeless and classic, perfect for traditional brides who want a completely polished look.
I’ve always thought that blue shoes was a good way to incorporate the “something blue” into a wedding outfit. Shoes don’t normally show very much under the dress, but a little peek of blue when a bride climbs the stairs is chic and much more modern than cream/white shoes that perfectly match the wedding dress. That’s why I think these Guess high heels would make great bridal shoes. They come in a couple of taller variations, but I chose the version with the smallest heel…no bride wants to be in pain an hour into her special day!
I think that Menbur is one of the best brands for bridal shoes and wedding accessories. They make gorgeous shoes for every type of bride and have a great collection of wedding clutches as well. These bow platform high heels are perfect for a classic, feminine bride. I think the satin bow adds a great touch of elegance, and the open toe is perfect for showing off that pre-wedding pedicure. Plus, platform stilettos are pretty timeless so you won’t cringe looking back at your wedding photos after a few years!
These beautiful Pura Lopez sandals would be great for a summer wedding. Not for the timid bride, these are for ladies who really want to make a statement on their wedding day without going OTT. I love the touch of pink in the straps–the perfect compliment for a pink bouquet or a flower hairpiece. Shoes like this work great both under a traditional long dress as well as with a modern short frock for a sexy Mediterranean look.
Beach wedding, anyone? These dressy silver sandals are about as good as it gets for beach bridal shoes. The delicate silver leaf detail is simply stunning and definitely screams “bride,” but the practical design makes walking across the sand easy peasy. Besides, isn’t it important to feel comfortable AND beautiful on your wedding day? Luciano Barachini knows exactly how to make that happen!
What type of bride are (or were) you? What do you think is the ideal wedding shoe?
Have a great weekend!
