We’re only a month away from the official start of spring, and the recent sunshine has got us SO ready for warmer weather! And, of course, one of the best things about a weather change is that it gives us the perfect excuse for shopping…
The Sarenza Lookbook is up and running with the top trends of Spring/Summer 2013…here are the first few in detail–be sure to check back soon for more!
Metallic isn’t necessarily a new trend, but all things shiny are taking S/S 13 by storm. Metallic shoes and bags are a great way to accessorise a modern outfit and follow this trend without looking like the Tin Man. This is a really diverse trend as well; use a bit of silver for an old-school glam effect like with the Guess shoes below, or go more urban with a pair of Ash wedge trainers. For a super edgy look, try on some spikes…Jeffrey Campbell never disappoints with the “wow” factor!
Move over, 1980s! The 90s kids are all grown up and reviving their childhood trends…bright colours, cool patterns, hi-top trainers, it’s all back (no windsuits, please)! Unlike the metallic trend which we’ve seen transferred into dresses, jackets, or pretty much ANYTHING wearable, shoes are definitely the focal point of this new retro wave. We love trainers with a splash of colour like these Rocket Dog hi-tops, and the 90s wouldn’t be complete without some serious platforms like these yellow platform flip-flops (also Rocket Dog shoes). And finally, I’m not sure if any brand exemplifies the 1990s quite as much as Adidas. How cool are these retro-inspired Adidas Originals trainers?
That’s all for now, but check back soon as we’ll continue adding our favourite trends of 2013! What style are you going for this spring?
Until next time,
