BRAND NEW : Autumn-Winter collection including Carvela and L.K.Bennett!

The sun might still be shining brightly outside but if you’re worth your salt in fashion, you’re not thinking flip-flops and jelly sandals but AUTUMN-WINTER! With over 2000 new styles online, it’s time to start planning your key pieces for the upcoming season from python prints to bordeaux hints…

The New Leopard

As a diehard leopard print supporter over the years, it’s hard to accept the realization that it’s starting to look a little passé…sure it’s still around, but it doesn’t have the same delicious temptation as the new animal print on the block, python. Python has been making its way on to the scene for a couple of seasons, but now it’s truly arrived! My pick? These fierce stilettos from Carvela.

Luxe Pumps

Ballet pumps have been on quite a journey over the past decade, from actual ballerina wear to being sold in bulk for £5 a pop. But while they may not the latest trend, there is still something to be said for a good quality pump. The Rose pumps in black and colour-of-the-season Bordeaux from L.K.Bennett have a decadent feel to them that puts them head and shoulders above the rest.

Made in Chelsea

Or rather, originally in Italy, these two-tonal Chelsea boots are the perfect transitional piece to move into Autumn.  Though the Chelsea boot now comes in multi colours or with vertiginous heels, for me, nothing beats the classic and Bruno Premi has nailed it this year.

“Purple? That’s Bordeaux darling.”

Yep, Bordeaux is officially the shade to be seen in this Autumn-Winter and ever one to hop on the bandwagon, I can’t get enough of it! My favourite are these multi-texture brogues from Georgia Rose which would look fabulous with a bit of marl grey.

Rockstar

I’ve tried many trends over the years, including some that with hindsight shouldn’t be classed as ‘trends’ at all (legwarmers and mini-skirts anyone?) but I’ve just never been able to make the rock look work. Put the majorty of women in a leather jacket and instant-cool happens, put me in one and I look as out of place as Kristen Stewart’s trainers on the red carpet. However, I’m determined to soldier on and these tough biker boots from Koah might just be my salvation…
