Wimbledon is officially underway! Of all the Grand Slam tennis tournaments, Wimbledon has to have some of the best traditions…strawberries and cream, purple and green, and fashion of course…for spectators AND competitors! What do you think about the all-white rule for players’ clothing?
I don’t know about you, but when I see the tennis ladies looking super fit and classy in their white dresses, I definitely get a little bit of exercise motivation. And, since half the fun of working out is shopping for cute athletic clothes, I’ve compiled a list of my favourite items from Sarenza’s sport boutique:
These Adidas shoes are functional AND feminine! This is a lightweight shoe that will let you move quickly and gracefully, and the pink and blue stripes on the side add a girly touch…perfect for a run in town or a friendly tennis match
Or, if your idea of “sports” is a little less intense, these Palladium shoes are great for a countryside stroll. Complete with Palladium’s signature gum reinforcement around the toe, these comfy trainers are available in fourteen colours to suit every girl’s tastes
These cute toning sneakers contain a 4-cm wedge to help bring more exercise into everyday life. I’ve yet to try Shape-Ups, but I am seriously intrigued by the possibility to burn calories and tone my legs without spending ages in the gym…any advice?
Another shoe for the seriously sporty girls out there, these Nike trainers are designed to provide flexibility and support for any type of workout. The neon laces catch the eye so that everyone will notice your athletic grace
So this may not be a shoe, but it’s definitely a sport essential! I’ve spent way too long carrying my gym clothes around in plastic grocery sacks…it’s time to invest in a real sport bag, and this Bensimon bag is roomy and includes side pockets…a must-have in my book!
So there you go ladies… enjoy! Please feel free to send any exercise motivation tips my way
Until next time,
