Sarenza 2011 High Heel Race…for the Téléthon!

I know many of you are fans of Sarenza’s now infamous High Heel race after last year’s hilarious antics so before y’all start complaining about ”where was your invite”, the main event is still to come! March 2012 people, pencil it in the diary.

This high heel race was a little different as our French big sister, Sarenza.com teamed up with the Téléthon to raise money for AFM – a very worthy charity that supports research into Myopathy, a muscular disease resulting in muscle weakness and life in a wheelchair. So for every 60 metre course completed Sarenza donated 10 Euros to the Telethon, raising a huge 16,170€!  That’s right, we’re not just about pretty shoes.

Highlights of the day included our CEO, Stéphane Treppoz, completing the course in gold Georgia Rose heels with surprising grace and elegance, various tumbles (with no injuries, I hasten to add!) and the general good spirit of the event despite the rain coming down.
