The rise and rise of the Converse

The prerequisite of the Skater boy and Skater girl alone in my home town during the 90’s, the Converse shoe has come a long way since it’s days at the forefront of grunge and is now the go-to-shoe for the Sarenza work force!

However, the story of the Converse goes back a lot further than my introduction to them during my grunge days (*shudder*). First invented during the 1900’s Converse has come through World Wars, financial woes and new management to get to the superstar shoe company it is today, worn regularly by the fashion elite, with special editions even being created for rock royalty.

Available in over 200 different styles for men and women at Sarenza, the Converse shoe has an audience reach that is the envy of all retailers due to its seemingly infinite ability to cross genders, cliques and trends. They are comfy, they are cool and they say “I’m fashionable without even trying” like no other.

And if you still need convincing, check out Hazel rocking her pink-patterned Converse with a black ensemble as well as  lovely Sarenza Ambassador MJ wearing her recently purchased Chuck Taylor’s!

Right, after this I’m off to buy these Chuck Taylor’s in Rose:

Converse are a timeless classic. No wardrobe is complete without at least 2 pairs!
