Behind the scenes of our Autumn Winter shoot
3 comment(s)
The launch of our Autumn Winter collection is just a few weeks away and I have to say that I am getting rather excited. I know we’re still in summer – (although say what you want about British summer time, I’ve never seen an August THIS wet before!) but something about all the military boots, cute courts and snug winter warmers has got me all inspired for a brand new wardrobe. Maybe it’s because this season is showcasing our best collection to date with exciting new brands like D&G, Patricia Blanchet, Amelie Pichard, Tila March, LK Bennett and Elizabeth Stuart. Or maybe it’s just because I like pretty shoes. Either way, I can’t wait.
Rather than keeping all this enthusiasm to myself, I thought I’d share a sneak peek of the autumn winter shooting of with you, just so you have something to work with until our new collection finally does arrive in the next few weeks.

Hotel des Grands Hommes: the perfect location for some Parisian romance
Our Creative Director Anne Estelle (as previously seen in our Sarenza Street Style) bought all of her talent and style savoir-faire to the shoot, which took place at Hôtel des grands hommes. If you have a romantic stereotype of Paris in your head, this location just plays up to it. Situated opposite the Pantheon and Jardin du Luxembourg, this 18th century hotel was the perfect backdrop to Anne Estelle’s “Jolie Madame “vision for the shoot, which essentially incorporates all things romantic. Think preppy, think seventies; think deep colours and pretty prints.

Our gorgeous Anne Estelle hard at work
Photographer Gregory Favre.had the envious job of shooting our two models Emilie and Jean, who spent the whole day being shot in a wide variety of looks and outfits matching our new shoes (it’s a hard job for some huh?)

The "Jolie Madame" theme has a real preppy vibe

Pictures of pretty shoes (and pretty male models) helps me deal with the oncoming Autumn!
To see the final results of the shoot, watch this space, our new collection is coming to a computer near you very soon – I’m doing a cold weather dance to make it come faster

@Sophie H – Thank you Sophie, the shoot is probs the most glamorous part of the job!
@J.Lee – I know, that retro carpet made me wanna don an afro and flairs! In keeping with the retro theme, my autumn dance will resemble something out of a 1970′s disco routine, complete with disco ball and perhaps some leaves.

Really interesting looking photos! The hotel looks gorgeous. “Think preppy, think seventies; think deep colours and pretty prints” pretty much sums it up! That’s some serious carpet in the fifth photo!
Can’t wait to see the final results of the shoot and your new collection!
What does a “cold weather dance” look like?
