Hazel's hitlist for this autumn

As well as getting a great discount on shoes and the occasional freebie, one of the big perks of the job at Sarenza is getting a first look at all the new samples from our new collections before they go on sale. Yeah I know, I have a fantastic job and sometimes I like to rub it in ;)

See this big pile of boxes? Inside them are lots and lots of new sample shoes from our new collection.

Boxes full of shoes waiting to be worn....

This pile has been slowly mounting up next to my desk for the last couple of weeks, with new boxes added every day. I’m not really sure why they are all being kept here, but like a kid at Christmas, I have been rummaging through all the beautiful packaging and have already found some gems that I have been dying to share with you!

It was one of my quieter days in the office today....

From left to right starting with Swedish Hasbeens, Ted Baker, Annabel Winship, Jancovek and Mellow Yellow.

As much as I love all of them, I sadly fit into none of them, as I have massive feet, so for now, I only get to lovingly hold the shoes until I can afford to buy them. I have left it to Eleanor and Johanna, who is the lovely Marketing Assistant from Germany to model my top three faves:

Ankle Boots

Swedish Hasbeens: Jodpuhr

Swedish Hasbeens: Jodphur

Swedish Hasbeens arrived at Sarenza in early 2011 and have totally changed the way I see clogs. This year I am all about finding funky ankle boots to go with my new autumn wardrobe and this pair, called Jodphur are definitely making their way to the top of the list. If these are my chosen pair, I’ll be wearing with short dresses and accessorizing with colourful socks.

Annabel Winship: Dave

Annabel Winship: Dave

Brogues are back for the autumn and this Annabel Winship pair are sooo up my street!  Since I started working here I have developed a slight love affair with all Annabel Winship shoes.  You can find this pair, which are strangely called Dave and her other quirky styles in our Boutique collection. I’m already dreaming of matching these with a girly playsuit and tights and thinking of ways to cut my monthly budget in order to buy them.

Preppy shoes

Jancovek: Larsen

Jancovek: Larsen

Jancovek are definitely a brand to watch this season and are bang on trend with their preppy, vintage styles. This pair called Larsen, look fab on Eleanor and would make fantastic back to work shoes. Whether you rock power suits to work, or go for smart casual like my glamorous assistant here, these shoes complete an outfit. Again, these can be found on our Boutique range.

You’ll notice that I haven’t yet added a pair of killer heels to the list. No, I haven’t gone back on my word about becoming a high heel wearer…in fact I have already seen a pair of heels I LOVE and have already bought them! Watch this space to see which ones I’ve gone for and how I get on wearing them.

Which of our brands have made it onto your wish list this season?

  1. #1 J.Lee:

Funky ankle boots are definitely the way forwards! I want some Swedish Hasbeens too! I love the Annabel Winship shoes! The pattern is amazing! I can totally see those working with a girly playsuit and tights.

  2. #2 Hazel:

@J.Lee – I’m all about ankle boots this season. Definitely keep your eye out for Sewdish Hasbeens. Their whole collection this time round is FAB.
