LK Bennett: shoes fit for a princess

Were you one of the millions of girls glued to the TV screen on the 29th April wishing that just like Kate, you too would one day be swept off your feet and marry a relatively “handsome” prince?

No? OK, me either, BUT I did find myself madly jealous of Kate Middleton’s stunning dress and since her transcendence from the girl next door to the world’s favourite style queen (get it?) I have become quite the fan of her wardrobe too.
If like me you want to channel her style, but don’t have a royal budget, then we have fantastic news! From autumn 2011, Sarenza will be home to one of Kate’s favourite shoe brands; LK Bennett.

Hailed as the ‘Queen of the kitten heel’, L.K. Bennett became instantly recognisable for its elegant mid heels since the first shop opening in Wimbledon in 1990 and is now a first stop shop for women’s luxury shoes in the UK. Their great collection ranges from court shoes, ankle boots and of course, the kitten heel, which all have the classic LK Bennett stamp of elegance and sophistication. They also have a fantastic range of handbags that I know our International Buyer Anna can’t wait to get her hands on!

Kate was famously snapped wearing LK Bennett’s wedges the morning after her wedding and this season sees the return of that wedge, which has been named after her. Since then she has been seen wearing LK Bennett shoes at the races and at the charity event Return for Kids Gala Dinner.

I’ve managed to get a sneak peek at some of the collection and I’m already thinking about how I can squeeze some of the shoes in my budget! As you know already, I have a rather slight obsession with leopard print, so these gorgeous ankle boots have gone straight to the top of my wish list:

If you’re looking for something a little more elegant, then these pretty heels have also caught my attention. The bright colour will make a statement at parties, but also captures the beauty and elegance of the Duchess.
