After weeks of hard work by the communication team here at Sarenza, last month saw the launch party for our super cool style section, “What’s Hot”. Not yet live on the UK site (but will be in the not so distant future), the page picks the chicest shoes from Sarenza’s 300+ strong brands, celebrating the latest trends working their way around the fashion circuit. To coincide with the launch, Sarenza ran a competition between French fashion bloggers to find the best street style photo, voted for by the party guests, with the winner being gifted with a voucher worth £500 to spend at Sarenza!

I was lucky enough to attend the party, held in the très fashionable Marais area, in a beautifully minimalist warehouse. With glorious shoes on podiums, street style photos covering the walls and French band, La Femme, playing a live set, I had a brilliant time alongside 3 top British fashion bloggers, Tor, Reena, and Jen.

While munching on hot dogs and drinking delicious raspberry vodka cocktails, we chose the best street style photos. I voted for the photos of Frédéric and Florence, both taken by street style bloggers “Comme un Camion” (Google translate is telling me this means “like a truck”, hmmm). The two photos ooze that classic French chic style that I am so envious of. Who is your favourite?

All in all it was a fabulous night, especially for fashion, with bloggers from across Europe strutting their stuff and a dress code of “très très shoese” bringing out the snazziest and jazziest footwear. I can only fit a few photos on here but there are are loads more on our facebook page to feast your eyes upon.

Til next time,
Eleanor
