This season sees the return of one my favourite trends: the nautical theme. Not only do I love it because you get to dress like a sailor, but the high street becomes adorned with fifties glamour, fantastic red and white stripes, bright blue prints and generally creates a happy wardrobe, which allows us to play with the idea of travelling off on a yacht far away.
As I’m sure you are aware, Sarenza have the widest range of shoe brands in the UK hanging up in our closet. So, not only do we have every type of shoe covered, but we also have every type of trend covered too, so even if you haven’t got the funds to go sailing around a beautiful island, let Sarenza bring you all the happiness of a life by the sea, with my top nautical shoes:
Comfortable? Tick. Navy and White? Tick. Deck shoes? Tick. These La Maison D’Espadrilles canvas shoes have all the attributes of a nautical shoe and would look great on the beach or at a picnic.
The Wedge Heel
Wedge shoes always make a welcome appearance in the summer and this pair of US polo assn wedges have a real sense of that fifties glamour I mentioned earlier. To complete the marine look, they could be teamed with a shirt and knee length denim shorts.
If you want a more subtle look, these Buffalo ballet pumps are a good choice. Blue stripes are a nice fashion staple, so the shoes can be worn again and again. Plus, the bow detail on the toe gives the shoe a cutesy touch.
Mixing in denim, which is another one of this season’s hottest themes; these sexy Guess high heels are a shoe addicts dream. Whilst the heel might be a little high for walking around all day, they could certainly inject a bit of fun to a sailor inspired outfit!
