Style Wars: the final note from the High Heel Race 2010

The running heels have been put back on their shelves for another year, but we couldn’t let the High Heel Race 2010 go without a final word on the outfits.

As we said last week, to celebrate the launch of Sarenza UK, the High Heel Race invited 16 English teams to join the battle for the £2,500 to spend at Sarenza. Whilst it may have been officially a race for the shoes, the real competition was in the style wars with English eccentrics vs. French chic. We have to say that all teams totally surpassed our expectations and looked even more amazing than we’d hoped.

We decided to reimburse our two favourite teams (one from each country) for their costumes as a way of saying thanks for making such a fantastic effort.

So a huge congratulations goes to….. RRM London!

We loved the originality from these three British runners, who displayed the quintessential ‘royal’ look with a sexy twist. We were especially fond of the cute hats! The Royal Guard’s have never looked so good…

With their Eiffel Tower hat and an Arc de Triomphe on the wrist, the French team ‘So, Happy in Paris?’ displayed true patriotism and are the deserved winners from the French side.

So, Happy in Paris?

So, Happy in Paris?

A big congratulations to the rest of the teams, you all looked fabulous.
