What Makes Girls Want To Run? The High Heel Race 2010


Shoeistas it’s time to get to your starting blocks as The High Heel Race returns for its third consecutive year.

Just in case you didn’t already know; The High Heel Race is a relay event designed for shoe addicts. The prize is an enormous £2,500 to spend on shoes.

This year it’s going international as there will be 16 UK teams as well as 16 French teams taking part.

The info:

Each team will compose of 3 girls wearing high heels with a heel of 3.15 inches minimum, who will race against each other in a 3×60 meters relay in order to win 3000 euros worth of shoes! (=£2500).

How To Enter:

If you want to represent the UK, come down to London and take part in our heats on Saturday 9th October between 2pm and 8pm at East London’s fashionable Truman Brewery car park. The girl who runs our relay in heels in the fastest time will win her and her two team mates a place in the November final in Paris!

What you have to do

The only condition for participating is that you need to race in heels which are a minimum of 3.5 inches. Don’t worry if you don’t have any high heels to hand (or on your feet as it were!) The Sarenza team will provide you with a pair of ours!

Other Ways to Enter

Don’t panic if you can’t make it down as 12 teams will be picked at random by an independent adjudicator. All you have to do is visit the site www.highheelrace.co.uk between 15th October and 7th November and enter your name into the prize draw.
